Gone Coastal Fishing Charter COVID-19 Operations
- With the understanding that not all vessels are the same size, the length of 33' and a beam of 12.5' Gone Coastal Charter provides more than enough deck space to provide social distancing for up to 6 passengers, however we have reduced our passengers to 4. The vessel is USCG approved for 12 passengers.
- We shall disinfect using USDA Food Grade disinfectant that is approved by NSF and EPA to kill SARS-COV-2 (the Coronavirus that causes the COVID-19). This disinfection will be overseen by the captain and logged in the vessel's paperwork.
- Customer's names, addresses, and contact information shall be retained by the vessel.
- We mandate the use of face coverings to be worn by all passengers.
- We will monitor all passengers for symptoms of illness before the vessel will leave the dock.
- Without face covering, admission onto the vessel will be strictly forbidden.
- Each passenger will be questioned about any symptoms relating to the COVID-19. As such, any passengers having the symptoms will not board the vessel.
- Fishing equipment shall not be shared unless it has been disinfected first.
- Where possible, we will use touchless payment and in the case of any other transactions, sanitizer will be used before and after.
- We shall assure frequent cleaning of "high-touch" areas by crew and maintain the same disinfectant log mentioned earlier.
- The vessel's lavatory shall be frequently disinfected and fully stocked with hand washing materials/sanitizers.
